Potential new owner.

I'm going to view an RC45 next week with a view to purchasing. I don't know much detail about the bike. I'm informed it's a UK model 100% original in top condition with 1500 miles, not been run for a couple of years, it has been turned over regular and stored indoors without fuel.

I have a 30 that is used regular and at the time of sourcing it I recall all the advise I had heard and read about. (what models to avoid, what to look for, how to tell its coutry of origin etc). Just wanting a few tips from other 45 owners.......

How to tell if it is a UK bike, what to look for on the VIN plate etc?
Where there any major differences from one year/model to the next?
Any years or models to avoid?

There was no change in colour to the production RC45, they were the same colour scheme for the whole run, regardless of year. The different colour schemes were for NC35 RVF400.
