Has this happened to anyone or could you shed some light on to this problem.
First time I have had the RC45 out this year. Bike started up straight away (optimate used) rode for about 32miles and pulled up at a friend’s, when I came to start up it would not start, got the clicking sound when turning over. Jump started the bike and had to travel another 30miles to see somebody else, bike seemed to be dying on me so did not dare stop the engine and decided to ride home. Got a weird thing happening with the speedo where the needle would just drop down to 0mph then jump back up to the correct speed this was repeating throughout journey back home. Had to keep revving the bike at junctions as it seemed it would just die on me at any time. Managed to limp back home and stopped the engine, tried re-starting absolutely nothing.
Put voltmeter across terminals 11.6v reading.
