Hi from a newbie

Hi all, my first post on here. Just want to say hello and ask is there any such thing as a buyers guide for the RC45?

I'm planning to take a look at one over the weekend and I was wondering if there was any obvious pitfalls? Anything I should look out for or avoid? Do they burn oil etc, etc?
