Hi All,
I am about to fit a Dynojet Stage 1 Jet Kit to my 1990 Honda RC30. It is standard apart from a full race, straight-through exhaust system. Rather than drill out my original slide lift holes, I bought a second hand set of slides to work on. When they arrived, I found that they have already had the slide lift holes drilled out. Checking with the drill bits supplied by Dynojet, I can see that these holes are the larger #30 size drill. The Dynojet instructions recommended using the smaller #37 size drill and the #30 for racing.
Please can anyone with experience of these kits tell me what difference is there between the two when riding the bike please? Does a larger hole mean a more aggressive slide lift? I want to use the bike mainly for sunny day road riding on fast open roads and potentially an occasional track day. Will the #30 slide lift holes make the bike difficult to ride on the road?
Thanks, Ian
