medd bikes

Post by moriwakirc »

dont have the medd one any more
should have said had, not have!

a guy i knew bought all the stock from the reciever when medd went under.

there was tons of factory spares, he was broken into some time later and they all went with engines, bikes and spares.

i never knew if anything was recovered, but some of the bike appear to have re surfaced!

its amazing how many race bikes have blank frames and no number on the engine..........

The bike I've got was Michael Rutters TT bike in 1994.It was then used in BSB by a list of riders inc.Marra Brown.James Haydon.Dave Jefferies and finally Phillip McCallen (had a superbike win on it at Olivers Mount).Got the info from an ex Medd team member and Stuart Medd. Will post pics later

Yellow cam covers

Post by moriwakirc »

Not really sure.
The engine is a genuine NL5 Factory numbered engine and the covers are coated with a yellow plastic, looks like they have been dipped!

I have seen red ones in Japan too.

Maybe someone out there knows more?
