Hi Godge, the smaller hose should exit the thermostat at the top. The front coil should be located just below the frame spar (that links the two side frame spars) behind the headstock. It sits above the weatherproof plastic sheet above the front cylinder head. You can't get to it without the tank (and probably carbs) off. I believe the right crank case position was for the race kitted bikes.godge wrote:Hi Guys, need some help. I'm fitting new water hoses to my RC30 and I'm a bit confused regarding the smaller hose from the thermostat to the radiator, should the smaller hose at the thermostat be at the top or bottom coming away from the thermostat as the thermostat cover can fit both ways, and what is the purpose of this smaller hose. Also can anyone tell me exactly where my front coil should be located as mine is fitted to the right crank case cover, and I don't think this is correct. Thanks for all your help
