HRC WSBK Brembo Monoblocs

Post by JaspSP5 »

Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum and am a bit of an invader really! I have a 1993 Ducati 888SP5 which couldn't be further aware from the refinement that is an RC45!

However, there is a method in my madness in joining the forum and may benefit someone. In my dismal search to get the period correct Corsa Brembo two-piece calipers for my bike, I stumbled across a pair Brembo race Monoblocs.

Now, these are special. Apart from Ti Pistons and being Monblocs that is! These calipers have two extra little brackets at the bottom of the caliper, which I have never see on any WSBK or MotoGP bike EXCEPT the 1996/1997 Factory Hondas of Kocinski, Slight and Fogarty.

So my question is, does anybody know anything about them and what the brackets are for?

If someone needs them, they may be for sale!

I have no idea how to post pictures!! Any help welcome!!
