HRC wheels

Hi Dean

As Dave says condition is important with 25 year old mag wheels hence the need for ND testing

Personally I would say the rear is only useful as a ornament, just too narrow for a Rc30
The front if OK is very useable

HRC rims

Dean

I was not suggesting they were not Rc30 wheels, and had heard the 4" rim was used as a wet rim.

I know the wheels you speak of as I own a number of sets of this type of wheel, I was commenting on the use of these and the useability on a Rc30

As mentioned the 3.5" HRC unit is a great rim and yes they do command a good price on the open market.

Cheers

No worries

As for value, the rear for me personally is hard to value, the front I have sold them between £350 - £475 but this was a few years ago.

They come in differant types though, easy identifiers are early VFR750 RS250 type has no lip on the rim, the 88 Rc / RS type has the lip on the rim and the last type 91 - 92 type, these have no webs where the spoke meets the rim and where made under licence by Marchesini
