Does anyone here know anything about the circuit inside the black box that connects the race kit tachometer to the wiring harness? I'm in the process of reverse engineering this converter but it would be a much easier process if someone out there had a schematic.

For anyone interested, this project is progressing nicely.
An avionics friend of mine has designed a circuit that allows the CDI to talk to the HRC race kit tach (the same unit fitted to the NSR500)
With a few finishing touches it will be ready to install.
