What would you buy to ride?

Post by arsey30 »

I have ridden quite a few standard RC45s and loads of modified/standard RC30s over the last 20 years.

I find my NC30/35 suit me now, but if I wanted a riding bike , then an RC30 with HRC, [Superbike carb/duct, kit wheels, i/l valves, piston rings] plus the usual Micron, Spondon, Ohlins would be good, but an RC45 with a few mods would be just as good.

I found that the 45 rides, steers, pulls better than the 30 ,but I still prefer the 30.

What do you all say?

RC45/RC30

As an owner of both, I really like both for different reasons, but if I could only own one, it would be the 45, in comparison my 30 is only lightly modded compared to my 45. I think the poor old 45 gets a bad wrap, as in standard form it's ok but with some very minor mods really comes alive. Of course horses for courses, there will be people that prefer the 30, that's how it is.

I have owned an NC30 and absolutely loved it, great bike, I would like to own an NC35 I think it would build on how good an NC30 was, the 400's are very underated, great bikes.
