RC30 Jetting question

Here's what I have: No airbox with ITG filter, HRC once over pistons, custom Kibblewhite valves, modified oem carbs to HRC spec, Micron Exhaust, Factory Pro Ti jet kit with 145 mains, 40 idle jets, needle clips at top position. Bike runs nicely except I'm blowing a lot of fuel out the exhaust. Too much for my comfort. So I tried 140 main jets and 2 and 3 clicks down on the needles. Bike ran nicely at 3 clicks on the needles, but had a bad hesitation at 3-4k in first gear with neutral throttle. Found out carbs had the Dynojet brass rings installed so I removed them as that may have caused the problem, and went back to the 145's and needles set at top position. Still blowing fuel out the back. Anyone have any experience with this? Anyone have a similar setup? If so, what are your cabs set at?
