We were asked to rebuild this but not over restore it, all the ancillaries were repainted as well as steel parts re-chromed and re zinc plated.
New HRC 70.4mm pistons we fitted into fresh bores, new Carrillo rods were fitted along with our own valves and gear train shims. At some point it has dropped a valve so new valve seats and valve guilds were fitted and the head welded and re-profiled.
