RMD Dyno

Post by roger »

Hi all.

I’m tidying-up some of the additional wiring installed by the mechanic to the former owner of my road 45. The bike has a Techtronics quickshifter fitted (with manual toggle-switch over-ride), but in the tidying process I’ve discovered a small ‘black box’ (approx 30mm L x 20mm W x 15mm D) with a pair of wires feeding from it to the harness. The box has a sticker on it which reads “RMD Dyno” (which I’ve Googled, but have drawn a blank). The box also has a note taped to it which reads… RM Developments warranty void if (RM Dyno) label removed. I presume this note was taped-on by the former mechanic.

Does anyone know anything about said box? Could it be associated with the Quickshifter? (There’s nothing about the RMD box on the Techtronics site).

Thanks for any info/help.

Regards,

Roger.
