You're welcome Mike...
Technically speaking all 500 production RC45s come with two engine
management maps inside their ECU: one map is limited for emissions
compliance and the other for full power European trim. It's a simple
matter of cutting 3 wires and rerouting them to the other map. So
modified the rear wheel power will rise from a stock 97.8 @ 10,000 rpm
to 108.5 @ 12,250 rpm.
I've been running Dymags and Marchesini magnesium wheels on the street since 1982... that's 40 years of
worth of success with no problems noted... and I don't ride in moderation either...
1981 my GPz550 and 3 spoke Dymags bought from Harris brothers in person at their
Performance on shop in England thanks to the USAF...
1984 my VF500F Interceptor that I modified into the famous Belt-0-Ceptor... I racked up
98,000 trouble free miles running the same Dymag magnesium wheels...
1998 my RC45 with 3 spoke Marchesini magnesium wheels... the rear is
from Freddie Spencer's RC30 and the front was owned by Wayne Rainey
when he sponsored Jimmy Felice YZ250R... Coupled with super light weight
320mm Ceramic Matrix Composite rotors and home made magnesium caliper mounts
the difference in weight will spoil you...
