Number plate light

Post by fogrider »

Well, after the problem sorting the wires to the number plate lamp, I now realise that it's the wrong lamp. The number plate holder and lamp has been removed, plate bolted direct to the mudguard and a small lamp fastened to the electronics tray above. It looks pretty good to be fair, so went un-noticed. Is this a common mounting plate ?, off another Honda model maybe ?. I'm hoping to go back to original, she deserves it !
Regards, Terry.

Nothing at David Silvers but a VFR800 doesn't look much different from photo's I have seen. The mirrors are CBR600 (I believe) so possible the plate is also a common part.
Perhaps someone has a race bike conversion, so a spare original plate ?

Thanks Mark, our local Honda dealer (Miles Kingsport) are pretty helpful, will call in and see what they can come up with. The VFR800 looks favourite
at the moment, work in progress, too many bikes , too cold in the garage, roll on summer !
Regards, Terry.

I see you listed as IOM, I will be at the TT festival this year (Manx), will look out for RC45's.
