Speedo healer and changing sprockets

Post by JC120 »

Are smaller front sprockets and larger rear sprockets available?

First gear is like 3rd on my 600RR. I've never been on a bike with such tall gearing  I love the bike so far and it's a dream to ride but I think I'd like it better geared down.

For anyone who's done this, how did you correct the discrepancy with the speedometer?

I went 1 down on the front and 2 up on the rear, it's still a bit tall in first gear but way better, didn't worry about speedo.

I have +20mm swinging arm, so can't compare Larry's FAC -1/+2 that I run with a standard arm with that gearing.
