2013 MotoGp Picture Show Laguna Seca

Post by Busy Little Shop »

For Mary and I it was the perfect weekend at Laguna Seca and my round
trip on the bike was perfect too with no tickets and no trouble...

Brother Alex Marquez watches Marc from the Cork Screw... it was
amazing to see the Laguna Seca Rooky charge into the Cork Screw for
the very first time... he was bravely on throttle but slightly off
line because he flicked just a little too late and over ran the candy
cane... second time around he was on line and on throttle... he flick
it just right... third time around he looked as if he that tricky
corner just about 90% figure out... it was a real threat to watch his
Race Craft...

Joey from Motul... he gave me a tube of their new "Chain Paste" to
test... now here's a product that lubes your chain with white grease
just like it came new from the factory and after 350 miles so far its
proved to cling with no flings...

Al watches as I blimp the throttle on his stunning NS400 3 cylinder 2
stroker... the crowd was buzzing with talk like "whens the last time
you heard the wail of a 2 stroke?"

One of the Japanese HRC engineers was fascinated over the Ceramic
Matrix Composite rotors... like most his initial guess was carbon

Elvio (Elvis in Italian) tells me about his own Honda V4 an NC30 which
is a sweet little 400 unique to the Japanese home market and a
spitting image of the iconic 1988 RC30...

Elvio's receives a good natured razzing by his fellow team members...

Elvio signs a Simocella sticker for me... its clear the team still
carries a heavy heart over the lost...

Your 2013 Laguna Seca winner #93 a 90º V4 RC213V... Mary and I enjoyed
the race from the Cork Screw where we witnessed Marc Marquez getting
away with murder as he pushed the Honda prototypes limits... watching
the pass Marc performed on Rossi was like 2008 all over again but this
time the riders are getting along just fine... all in all we shall
never forget either... See you all in 2014...
