PGM-FI part number

Post by Hide »

Hi there,

My RC45 comes with a PGM-FI unit that has part number sticker "38770-MW4C-671" with the identification letter "A" on it. I assume it's an unit for USA market, but I've never seen "WM4C" part number on any RC45 ECU box. Does anyone in the forum know what exactly it is?

MW4C ECU

Post by Jamiec_c »

The original ECU from my early build RC45 (#55) is 38770-MW4C-631ED, If I remove the lid of this ECU, it has a removable eprom and a 5 wire loom with connector built into the board. The removable EPROM has a sticker on it that reads;

Data&Map set 0
MW4 ED (some Japanese writing)
'93.OCT.27

remove the lid of your ECU and see if it has the removable eprom and lom connector.
