rc45 tyres

I need new tyres for my rc45 which has standard wheels.

Any suggestions for a good pair would be gratefully received,or would a

change to a 17 inch wheel be a better idea. If so which wheel will fit ?

Thanks

Durbahn hugger

I am trying to contact Durbahn, by email and post, without success for a hugger for my rc30. Does the company still exist or are there are other contact details?
Alternatively do any members know where I can get a hugger ?

Thanks

RC30 regulator rectifier

I got home from a run on my 30 and noticed a hot electrical smell from under the seat. I checked the plugs from the regulator rectifier and the plug from the alternator [with yellow wires ] had run hot, causing the wires to look a rusty colour. Does this mean a replacement unit ? Are there good afte...

I have just signed on to the site so I thought I would say hello. I bought an rc30 about 10 years ago,a 1988 model, rode it for the first year and during the winter did some maintenance . There was no clearance on 4 of the valves so I had to whip to engine out and replace the valves and springs . I ...

rc45 ride height

Hi all you clever people out there. I wanted to raise the fork tubes of my 45 through the yokes but find there are rings fitted into the tubes under the top yoke which prevent me from doing this . The other option is to raise the rear ride height. I want to use the standard shock so the questions ar...
