Re: Thermostat housing

Hi Guys, need some help. I'm fitting new water hoses to my RC30 and I'm a bit confused regarding the smaller hose from the thermostat to the radiator, should the smaller hose at the thermostat be at the top or bottom coming away from the thermostat as the thermostat cover can fit both ways, and wha...

Re: Paddock stand

That's spot on, I couldn't figure out why it had that plastic nut, it all makes sense now, thanks ! On the road next week, will report. Regards, Terry. Careful with that stand Terry. In practice it's not the best system. My RC45 often tries to walk off the stand as it's lifted, and a new nylon bush...

Re: speedo

Hi Larry, from your diagram, it certainly doesn't look too involved. I agree about the fragile speedo needle, I was more worried about getting it back on its' post though, so it was still calibrated right. Whilst pondering over your speedo photo, I realized the obvious; an MPH overlay would be idea...

Swing arm bearing removal

Hi Guys, I'm planning to replace the two swing arm pivot bearings (one roller, one ball) housed in the frame end of the swing arm. The manual references two tools for this, one that looks like a blind bearing extractor for the ball bearing, and a different tool for the roller bearing. But I'm not su...

Chain wear decal

Hi guys, anyone know a decal supplier who can replicate the chain wear decal that's stuck to the swing arm, at a reasonable price?

Cheers,

Paul.

Anyone know the allen hex bit size needed to remove the swing arm pivot bolt? It looks like 14mm or 15mm?

Thanks,

Scam, has to be. The seller has 0 feedback. The bike was listed a few weeks ago. I think start bid was 12k.

Termignoni exhaust

Anyone have a Termignoni installed on their bike? The reason I ask is because I have what I believe is (at least in part) a Termignoni 4x2 system. I say in part because although it has the twin stacked Termi pipes and is all stainless, the fit is really bad. It has also had some welding work by a pr...

WANTED RC45 hugger

Anyone got a hugger they don't want?

From what I can tell there doesn't appear to be anyone that still makes them(?), so if anyone has one they are willing to sell, let me know.

Thanks,

Paul.

RC45 side stand

Is it me or is the RC45 side stand extremely short? The bike seems to lean over far more than necessary when on the stand? Is this normal? I'll need to take some measurements and compare with my stock RC30 stand, but it could be they are the same length? I replaced the RC30 stand with a CBR600 item ...
