Hi!

This Norwegian company claims they have some of the last (new) twin setups for the RC45..

I wouldn't. They won't clear the standard lower bodywork then you'd end up like me with loads of HRC bits you can't use until you've got the very last one...

4 into 2 is a clean design but full Race pipes only work on kitted engines...
Stock engines loose all important ride ability powerband...

If the Akrapovic system copies the pipe 38mm diameter of the HRC
exhaust then it's been my experience that it will destroy about 30% of
what's good about the lower end of the powerband... whereas if they
copy the 35mm pipe diameter of the stocker then the meaty powerband
remains intact... or better yet if they employ taper pipes starting
with the 35mm stock diameter and then slowly open up to HRC 38mm
diameter that will preserve the meaty lower end plus gain on the top
end of the powerband... Pipe diameter is critical on the RC45...

The best exhaust I found for the RC45 is Rob Lindeman's home made
titanium wonder... not only will it drop 8 pounds but will push the
power up to 116 rwhp... the secret to his design is the sections of
taper pipes sourced from Akrapovic... expensive but worth it... no
RC45 should be without one... I've never regretted the $2,900 cost...

Titanium exhaust hand crafted out of Akrapovic parts by Rob Lindeman
RC45 owner $2,900 USD

My home made Carbon Fiber Exhaust Can...

My stock RC45 112RWHP 52.9 Torque with stock pipes plus straight through end can and home made K&N filter...

This is the dyno chart Rob Lindeman sent me that proved 116RWHP with home made titanium pipe...

I have the old 4-2 with single siamesed can Skorpion system, AKA Micron badged and used by 1996 Honda Britain team.

Mark RC45 has been trying to pry it out of me for years with no success....

Tapered primary pipes just as Larry says. Apparently it makes loads of extra power with no defecit on a standard bike.
Would be nice if I ever get round to fitting it, and all the rest of the stuff..
